Where was the Bio-Blitz?  Volunteers collected and sorted macroinvertebrates at five locations:

1)      Hickory Creek at Joliet Pilcher Park Nature Center

2)      Hickory Creek at New Lenox STP #1

3)      Hickory Creek at VFW in New Lenox, IL

4)      Marley Creek at Mokena, IL

5)      Union Ditch in Tinley Park, IL


Volunteer as a “Citizen Scientist” for 2107 Bio-Blitz! What better way to get involved in your own community, while learning more about the biology of your stream.
